The suction system of medical center takes the vacuum pump unit of the central suction station as the negative pressure source. The pipeline of the suction system reaches the required negative pressure value through the suction of the vacuum pump. The suction force is then generated at the termials of the operating room, the rescue room, the treatment room and each ward. It is mainly used to remove sputum, blood, abscess and other pollutants in the patients.
The system central suction station, also known as the negative pressure station, is an independent operation room with the vacuum pump unit and the vacuum container. It generally includes vacuum pump, vacuum valve, vacuum instrument, vacuum tank, sewage tank, connecting pipe and electric control cabinet. The suction pipeline is the pipeline system from the central suction station to each zone, each floor and each ward. It mainly includes vacuum pipeline and some pipeline components. The terminals include the end of the suction pipe, plug-and-pull self-sealing fast joints, suction devices and suction bottles connected.

Description of Vacuum Pump Unit Working
In the automatic control mode, the system starts and stops the vacuum pump according to the pressure signal detected. When the negative pressure in the vacuum tank reaches 0.07 MPa, the vacuum pump stops automatically. When the negative pressure in the vacuum tank decreases to 0.02 MPa, the vacuum pump starts automatically. The automatic start-up and shut-down pressure of the pump can be adjusted for the demands of the hospital. When the negative pressure is higher than 0.019 MPa or lower than 0.073 MPa, the acousto-optic alarm device is triggered.
